Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Some interactive interface components cannot be navigated with a keyboard, this fails WCAG 2.1.1.
Some menu elements do not provide a visible indication that they have the input focus, this fails WCAG 2.4.7.
Pre-recorded video content does not have an audio description, this fails WCAG 1.2.3 and 1.2.5.
We plan to address the above issues by the end of December 2023.
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
PDFs and other documents
Some of our pages link to PDF documents provided by external organisations for additional content. Whilst these documents are outside of our control, we will update links to web page content where possible when articles are reviewed.
Live video
We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.
